This week I got to capture itty bitty baby Harper. She is so adorable. So tiny. And so good at being photographed.
She was anxious to meet her family and announce her gender and she came a little early and spent some extra time in the hospital. I was a little nervous she would be "too old" for some of the newborn type posing but I was so thrilled to be worried about nothing! She was so good, I couldn't believe it. Sleepy and posable content.
For this session I checked out a studio co-op in nearby Victoria and loved the space. It's bright and beautiful. One of the things I was most excited about was this beautiful all white ornate chair. Paired with an adorable baby, a pink wrap and oversized headband it set the scene for one of the most girly photos I've taken.
I also got to catch up with Harper's mom, one of my childhood neighbors! It's so cool being able to reconnect with people and to know they trust me to capture milestones and memories in their lives. I can't wait to see Harper and her family again a few times throughout the next year with their baby plan!
