I got the call this morning that two lifetime sweethearts were going to tie the knot today and they needed a photographer. Luckily, I had nothing else going on. There were a few hiccups, but it all worked out and they’re happily married!
The bride wore a gown crocheted by hand years ago and it fit her like a glove. Her mom, though she was not quiet done with hair and make up, helped her button her gown. The two shared a special moment once the bride was all ready to go. The first look was so emotional - the groom was so dapper in his makeshift tuxedo. They kissed under the veil and loved on each other. I loved directing them in some of my most favorite poses! Then it was time for the ceremony. Because we are in a quarantine the guest list was limited. The bride’s dad’s shirt got lost on the way, but nothing was going to stop these nuptials. The best man doubled as the officiant and the bridesmaid was left to do her own hair and make up but it worked out. Despite telling her to stay home and stay safe Aunt Karen came with her camera “just in case” they needed some candids. The groom’s mother was also there, beaming with joy. The ceremony was sweet. They shared their love and exchanged vows. After the ceremony they sat at an adorable sweetheart table while their bridal party gave speeches. The maid of honor said “for those of you who don’t know me, I’m Anna. I am really nervous, so I hope you don’t mind if I read my speech off my phone.” The best man shared stories of when he and the groom lived together and perfected late night frozen pizza cooking. The two wrapped up their day sharing a special dance.
Please surround this couple in love and wish them a happy life together!
