I absolutely adore photographing this family. Last summer I photographed them in my favorite field in Chaska, they were one of the first families to brave the over grown grasses and trust me when I suggested it.
The Jevnes have one of the sharpest little ladies I've meet; Miss Nora is bright and kind and a really excellent big sister. She worked hard to get twin brothers George and Henry to smile. She had some success, too! Geo was a little tough to get to smile, but we did get a few. On the other hand, Henry was a ham and easily entertained. We got to take quite a few unposed shots and some of those are my absolute favorite from this session.
Also - when I send out my emails about clothing choices and establishing a look for your photos I ask my clients to be mindful of mixing patterns as it can be either awesome or a disaster. Josh and Jenny know how to mix patterns so take notes if you're thinking of going that route!
